How could you?
You who were supposed to be my friend.
You who were supposed to be my protector.
You who we rejoiced in,
How could you abandon us?!
In our time of need,
You turned and fled.
Left us to die!
And die we did.
They came.
They came and destroyed our way of life.
My village,
Gone forever.
My family,
Slaughtered before my eyes!
You who we believed in,
Abandoned us and left us for dead!
You who turned your back on us,
I now turn my back on you!
Now, I follow another.
One who will not abandon me.
One who fills me with a power
More magnificent,
More fulfilling,
More promising than yours ever was.
It is to this power
That I devote my life.
A power that deserves my devotion.
A power that deserves to rule.

The Great Dark.
